"Who done it?" I don't know, but I have some more reggae questions for you :
Who you gonna run to?
Who's gonna help me praise?
Who's the winner?
Who's gonna dance with me?
Who's gonna bell the cat?
Where can I find true love?
Where do I turn?
Where is Jah?
Where is your love mankind?
Tell me where you get it?
Why baby why?
Why am I treated so bad?
Why can't I touch you?
Why can't I dub you?
Why can't we be friends?
Why you so craven?
Why should I?
Why do blackman fuss & fight?
Why me black brother why?
Why people mumbling?
And then I skip the many "what's?"
Delroy Wilson - Worth Your Weight In Gold
Burning Sounds LP 1984
Produced by Augustus "Gussie" Clarke
Not the best Delroy Wilson album, but to me the most interesting.
The backing tracks are dated from 1978.
When I was 14 years old I bought the Trinity "Showcase" album for one guilder at the local second-hand shop. That album has the same backing tracks as "Worth Your Weight In Gold", and that's what makes WYWIG special to me.
Being not fully satisfied with side 2 I sold Trinity's "Showcase" too for a guilder at the school yard,
to M. Van Kammen. (Please contact me mr. Van Kammen).
The horror in hindsight. Nights of lying awake in my bed and thinking of the wax of Trinity's "Showcase", which I could have had, if only I had not misjudged the personal value of this album.
And speaking of value, it would be much more worth especially nowadays than one guilder.
But hey, being too nice makes no friend.

Delroy Wilson - Unedited (197x)

Call On Me
Solomon
I Don't Mind
People Get Ready
Prophesy Must Fulfill
Can't Stop Me
Kiss And Say Goodbye
Live Good
You Are Mine
Talk Too Much
Often overlooked, Delroy Wilson doesn't always get the credits he deserves.
"Unedited" is raw and pure roots reggae backed by correct me if I'm wrong The Aggrovators. Enjoy!
