Earl Morgan - D.C. Dub Connection
Tele-Tech LP 1982 reissued on CD by Auralux, 2007, recorded at the Black Ark and King Tubby's and mixed at King Tubby's.
Earl Morgan, singer of the Heptones is also a very good producer as you can hear on this album. The inventive backing tracks to several Heptones and other artists cuts come from the albums Party Time and The Many Moods Of Alton Ellis and also from Barry Browns' Showcase (Conscious Man).
Both D.C. Dub Connection and the Many Moods Of Alton Ellis were issued in the early 80's on the U.S. label Tele-Tech ran by an admirer of the music, Ricky Hillocks, who could finance and distribute.
