Ken Boothe has a very pronounced way of singing, a unique crooner he is. My fav track here is the determined "You Are No Good", a brilliant piece of hayday seventies top rocking reggae in which Ken scats away on the tututu. The other tracks are more mellow type of songs, but all backed by that typical 78 Revolutionaries (incarnation) sound, with a.o. so distinctive in this era of roots reggae the organ playing of Winston Wright.
How to describe his playing? Take a listen. The style of backing also reminds me of Jimmy Riley's Showcase, same feel and same vibe.
