Revelation Time, a dutch roots reggae band, issued two albums in their long existance. Their debut is from the 80's, with guest artist Ruud Gullit featuring the hit single "South Africa" (downpressor man...you better know where you coming from).
Ruud Gullit, the man who single-handedly almost killed soccer club Feyenoord; a nice man he is.
Once, long ago, I met him. Have to admit that it was in a dream of mine, but I'm sure it was really him. That day I was driving through Milan, Italy, wondering where I was going to since I had never been there before and not knowing anybody. Then I got at the training football-fields of AC Milan and there he was.
Of course I had a lot to ask Ruud about life and stuff and this was my chance, but we didn't speak much. Actually all he said was that "everything is alright".
Anyway, this "Time Will Tell" is their follow-up after almost fifteen years, a period in which the band used to tour the world intensively.
With catchy songs and irresistible lead vocals it's a splendid roots / pop crossover album.
