Para quem não conhece, Jah Shaka é conhecido também como "Zulu Warrior".
Nascido na Jamaica ele tem sua idade e nome verdadeiro desconhecidos.

Shaka foi morar na Inglaterra na década de 70, quando trabalhou como aprendiz de SoundMan no Sound System, Fredie Cloudburst Sound System, sistema de som Inglês que tocava Soul.

Pouco tempo depois Shaka iniciou o mais antigo e místico sistema de som do mundo que foi o precursor do movimento digital e também dos cuts exclusivos até hoje, o JAH SHAKA SOUNDSYSTEM.

Shaka ainda está em plena atividade na Inglaterra com seu sistema de som movido totalmente a válvulas.
