Black Uhuru - Live At Soledad Prison CA 1982

As a youth I got into reggae by a girlfriend who lend me
a tape of Bob Marley's Legend album.
That was good music to my ears.
But things got serious when I heard Black Uhuru
for the first time in my life.

The album was "Red",
not the easiest album to start a reggae addiction probably,
which got me going on with "Chill Out", "Sensimilla", "Brutal", etc...
This group was even more appealing to me because they were so militant.
The power in the voice of Michael Rose in a good song
like "Eye Market"; heavy stuff..

I've never seen them perform live.
Back in the days their only live album was "Tear It Up"
and frankly that one did dissapoint me a little because of
the inferior audio quality of the recording.

This Live At Soledad Prison CA 1982 bootleg has a rather good
audio quality and the band is in great shape.
I guess most of you haven't been at this concert at the time,
or were you?
For all you Black Uhuru fans out there, enjoy this one!
